actually, it'll work on SunOS/Solaris/IRIX by setting the $TERMINFO
variable to point to the vendor's files as well (they're binary-compatible,
though some minor differences apply).

(I've been doing the maintenance for the past year, and recently cut over to a
new mailing list).  The current distributions are 1.9.9g (on
